#ShareTheMicInCyber celebrating Black Women in Security & Privacy

In celebration of Women's History Month, the #ShareTheMicInCyber campaign celebrated Black Women in Security & Privacy with an all day event on Twitter and LinkedIn on March 19, 2021. TheBridge is happy to be a supporting organization for the #ShareTheMicInCyber campaign. Racism, like cybersecurity, is a national security issue. It’s not enough to be “not racist”- we must be anti-racist. As a community, let’s stand up against systemic racism. Together, let’s honor our Black colleagues & lift up underrepresented voices.

On March 19, #ShareTheMicInCyber reached over 33.7 million people! A great celebration of Black women in security and privacy this Women's History Month.

If you'd like to continue to support this effort, you can can donate to the scholarship fund covering training, certification, learning and advancement expenses incurred by Black cybersecurity and/or privacy practitioners in the #ShareTheMicInCyber group. Donate here.
