Q. Describe one way how a skill you learned in a previous job helped you in your new job.
My first job out of college was as a middle school teacher. I learned very quickly and the hard way that preparation and organization were essential to not get “eaten alive” by the students. I used these skills as an advisor in the White House and at GSA when juggling multiple issues, meetings, and stakeholders on a daily basis.
