Q. Favorite spot for a coffee meeting? I like meeting at Filicori Zecchini in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor because it’s near where I live, near my office and it’s easy for others to get to it. Their lattes are good, too.

Q. Describe how a skill you learned in a previous job helped you in your current job. The role of a chief of staff is to help their principal reach their goals. My principal is the CEO of Catalyte and his goals are to help the company grow. That means that my job is to help the company grow. I use my skillset I picked up as a tech venture capitalist to assess ways to grow the business, which includes doing due diligence on the business and the team, building strategies and aiding the team in getting things done.

Q. Job advice in three words? Always be learning.

Q. Why are you part of TheBridge community? I dream of a world where tech is pioneered by the diversity of our population. The only way to achieve this vision is by collaborating with a multi-stakeholder community, like those in TheBridge.

Q. How are you (or your company, org, nonprofit) currently bridging the gap between innovation and regulation? We’re bridging the gap between tech and politics by engaging the multi-stakeholder community in reimagining how we identify, produce and develop the workforce of the future using the power of tech. We’re providing tech career opportunities to high-potential individuals from all walks of life.

Q. What can innovators learn from policymakers? Innovators can learn the problems of a policymaker’s constituency, identify solutions that enable societal improvements and together get legislation and budget allocation approved to invest in said solutions.

Q. What can policymakers learn from innovators? Policymakers can learn to engage with tech innovators to achieve their goals to better serve the people of our country and to stimulate untapped communities and economies.

Q. Favorite book/podcast/long-form article you recommend? Steve Case’s The Third Wave: An Entrepreneur’s Vision of the Future. The net of it is that we need to unite a multi-stakeholder community in order to make great things happen.

Q. Most underrated virtue in an employee? Integrity.

Q. Favorite app? Twitter. I’m on there all the time and love making new friends there. Say hello @lolitataub.

Q. How do you unwind after work? Making and drinking extra sparkly water made with my Sodastream, snacking on Sun-Maid California raisins and watching the British Baking Show on Netflix.
